His range of limited edition ties, is perhaps his signature statement, as is the limited collection of attire for men. Georges J. Feghaly is in that exclusive bracket of designers that believe quality, quality and quality is the only thing that matters. One of his ties from his latest collection illustrated the American Flag alongside the Twin Towers, after the September 11th the ties were in tremendous demand by high flyers in the financial world, True to his philosophy when the last of the limited edition in four colors was sold. No more were produced, just like Georges never one to exploit the trend, but a great trendsetter with high standards of workmanship which he brings to his profession.

On your visit to Monaco, stop at Lu Maison du Whiskey, the store is literally stocked from top to bottom with every brand of whiskey and cognac available on the market.
The staff are helpful, particularly in explaining the degree of quality and time in the vat, which is key when buying whiskey of any brand for someone who enjoys this tittle.

RICHART, design et chocolate, famous for its chocolates, is my favorite haunt, not so much for tea, but for a lovely pot of delicious hot chocolate (available in varying strengths). The salon also has a selection of the most amazingly fruitcakes available by the slice, and an extensive assortment of pastries. The service generally is good, but falls dramatically when the restaurant gets busy. Although they do salads and other light dishes, I highly recommend the pastries, and hot chocolate.

Looking for good Italian gourmet, and don’t have time to run across the border to Ventimiglia? Then head for Plaisirs du Palais. The shop has an extensive collection of fine olive oil, delicacies and wine from across the border. The staff are pleasant, and offer good advice on the various grades and quality of olive oil that the shop stocks.

All over France, the emphasis is on aromatherapy, and homeopathy and holistic medicines and healing. In any city you will find a health store or herbalist. The Heathstore in Monaco is located in the Metropole shopping center, across from the gardens. There you will find a good selection of vitamin pills, and healthy products for both inside and outside the body. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
