I cannot imagine anyone not wanting to visit Venice unless you are afraid of water. Arguably one of the most romantic cities in the world, for an incurable romantic such as myself its absolute heaven. My one disappointment, as I continue to visit Venice is the invasion of the designer shops on every corner. Prada, Gucci, Armani, a necessary expansion for commerce one presumes, but it does detract from the quaint old shops that make up the ambiance and legend that is Venice.  However, the many bridges that lead you around Venice continue to offer many opportunities to find a selection of establishments to put on this site, that captures “the real” Venice I continue to be excited by finding a selection of establishments to put on this site, that capture the real Venice.
